In EntryScape 3.15 we introduce new overview pages for catalogs, terminologies, workbench projects and models, along with easy access to the EntryScape Catalog user manual from within the application, as well as enhanced search functionality and more.

New overview pages

Catalogs, terminologies, Workbench projects, and models now have new overview pages, with all functionality accessible through buttons on the right side of the page instead of three-point menus. The same easy and familiar buttons already used for datasets and collections!

Links to documentation

You can now find help faster in EntryScape Catalog by clicking the question mark in the top right corner. This opens up a side menu on the right-hand side with quick links directly to relevant pages in the manual describing the functionalities on the current page.

You will also find links to the full documentation, our user forum where you can post and read questions and answers, and contact our customer support.

Other improvements

Your search filter settings and current results page will now remain saved when you search and click on datasets, for example. This is a long-awaited improvement that makes it easier and faster to go through lists of search results to find what you are looking for.

More details are displayed when viewing an entity’s detailed information under the About tab, including the creation date, creator and last updated date.

Entities referenced in the detailed information, as well as dialogs that appear when attempting to delete something with dependencies, are now presented as clickable links, allowing for quick access instead of requiring a manual search.

External previews in EntryScape Blocks or similar are now linked from within Workbench.

Icons previously used to represent dataset series, archived, based on template etc have been replaced with text tags.

In Models, a terminology can now be accessed and linked to via lookup fields.

The datasets associated with ideas and showcases are now listed directly under the corresponding idea or showcase.

Customers who wish to publish datasets internally can now request to test this newly developed feature as a pilot project by contacting our support team.

EntryScape 3.15 also includes numerous small design updates, bug fixes and other improvements that may not immediately visible. You can find the full list of changes in the changelog.
